Charged With a Financial Crime?
Fraud and Forgery Defense in Northern Virginia
"White collar crime" refers to theft by deception or misappropriation of funds from a business or organization. Although these are non-violent crimes, they are serious felony offenses. My goal is to avoid prison if possible and limit the other fallout.
I have represented people on state and federal charges of fraud, embezzlement and other financial crimes. I am Christopher Finch, and I bring 20 years of criminal defense experience to your case. Call me now at 703-383-1150 for a free initial consultation.

Do Not Say a Word Before Contacting an Attorney!
Criminal charges often stem from a long investigation. Prince William County and state and federal agencies have prosecutors dedicated to white collar crimes. If you are contacted by investigators or suspect you are the target, contact me right away.
You will gain nothing by cooperating with authorities. Any information you provide will only strengthen their case. If there is an innocent explanation — or if you have information that will implicate "bigger fish" — I may be able to intervene with prosecutors before formal charges are brought. My goal is to avoid an embarrassing arrest that would jeopardize your employment, your professional license or your business.
The charges and potential prison sentence depend on the amount of money, the manner of theft, and whether there are additional allegations of mail fraud, wire fraud or conspiracy. I have handled grand larceny, fraud and forgery/uttering, and sometimes can get charges reduced to a lesser felony or misdemeanor theft. In other cases, I have been able to get probation and restitution in lieu of jail and a criminal record.
Contact my Fairfax office for the experienced representation you will need to fight for your freedom. I offer a free half hour consultation.
